Renewal Application for a Registered Trademark
Renewal of a Registered Trademark is simple and strightforward and the the official fees are as below:

Requirement:
- A Power of attorney duly notarized and legalized up to the Afghanistan Consulate,
- A scan copy of the registration and/or latest renewal certificate,
- A clear image of a device mark.
Grace Period:
It is very important note that GRACE PERIOD is no more available for filing renewal applications, as per a regulation/practice adopted by the Afghanistan Trademark Office in 2017.
Time Frame:
The renewal application process may be completed within the 2-3 months and the renweal cetificate shall be issued in the original.
Renewal Procedure:
An applicant can apply for a renewal at least six months before the expiration date.
Note:
You can download a copy of the suitable Power of Attorney format which may be filled in the highlighted parts and proceed further with the notatization and legalization.
