Change of Name and Address Application for a Trademark Registration
Filing a Change of Adddress application for a Registered Trademark shall undergo the filing and publication stages for which the official fees are as below:

Requirement:
- A Power of attorney duly notarized and legalized up to the Afghanistan Consulate,
- A Change of Name and Address document duly notarized and legalized up to the Afghanistan Consulate,
- A copy of the Registration and/or latest Renewal Certificate,
- A Clear image of a device mark.
Note:
Any changes in the ownership must be recorded for all the trademarks falling under the same owner based on the Afghanistan trademark Law currently enforced.
Single Class/Multiple Class:
There will be no additional official fees for filing a Change of Name and Address application for earch additional class.
Change of Name and Address Application Procedure:
A Trademark Change of Name and Address will undergo the filing and publication in the Official Gazette. the process may take form 3 to 6 months to complete recordal process.
Note:
Afghanistan Trademark Office will not issue a computarized certificate for any recordal application including for the recordal of Change of Name and Address application. instead, the recordal shall be endoresed on the original regisration or latest renewal certificate.
